Social Media Management Tools (Free Forever Toolkit Tips)

Grab my free PDF, Free Forever Toolkit. This toolkit contains the links to the free forever versions of a wide variety of resources that can help your business with marketing and design. From time to time, I will give some tips on how to use those resources.

There are 3 different social media management tools listed in the toolkit. The free versions of each have their strengths and weaknesses. You’ll need to figure out which one (or combination of them) works best for your business.

Agorapulse offers the most limited selection of platforms that you can connect (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or YouTube), you can only choose 3 of those on the free version and you can only schedule 10 posts at a time. However, they do offer a limited amount of analytics which can help greatly in deciding whether your strategies are effective.

Buffer can connect just about any social media platform you could want, but you can only connect 3 and you are limited to 10 scheduled posts at a time per platform. Unfortunately, the analytics are unavailable on the free version.

Mertricool allows you to connect 1 of each type of platform they allow on their free version, and you can schedule up to 20 total posts across all platforms per month. Metricool does not allow you to connect LinkedIn or X (Twitter) on their free version though. They do offer limited analytics and the ability to connect Meta, Google and TikTok Ads.

I personally use a mixture of Buffer and Metricool, but that may not be the best option for you. You’ll need to decide which features are most important to what you wish to accomplish with social media.

All the best,
